Jerry A. Wiese II, grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Brigham Young University, in Utah, in 1991 after which he attended and graduated from McGeorge School of Law (UOP), in Sacramento, California. He participated actively in the Trial Advocacy Program, the Community Legal Services Program, and the Nevada Law Students Association. He sat on the Board of Governors for the Community Legal Services Program.
After graduating from law school in 1994, Mr. Wiese joined a small firm in Las Vegas, Nevada, and represented plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury, and medical malpractice. He also represented insurance companies and defendants. After only 2 years, he was made partner in that firm. In approximately 1998, Mr. Wiese left that firm and together with Donald Williams, he founded the law firm of Williams & Wiese.
Mr. Wiese currently practices in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, catastrophic/serious injuries, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith. He is currently an active member of the State Bars of Nevada and Arizona, the Clark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He practices law in both Nevada and Arizona. He also serves as a pro-temp Justice of the Peace in Clark County, Nevada.
Mr. Wiese was recently recognized as a member of the exclusive "Million Dollar Advocates Forum." This Forum is recognized as the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.
